Bronz' Express: Spray Tan & Application

Confession time: I'm afraid of spray tans.
I love to tan but had always been too nervous of getting a spray tan, especially before a special occasion.
what if it went streaky?
do I have to stand around in the nip?

I finally overcame my fear and went for my very first spray than the other day, but before I went I tried to do some research; what to do beforehand, what to wear..and I couldn't really find much so here are Bronz' Express's tips and some of my own too (one time and I'm an expert, obvz) after the jump.

Brozed Pink Blushes Review- Cargo Blush Dupe

I love Bronze-y pink blushes you wouldn't think that they are the most flattering but in fact they are flattering on a multitude of skin tones.

I tend to stay away from baby pink and brighter blushes because they don't look natural on my face. If your starting out and don't know what type of  blush to get i would suggest if you are fair to medium skin tone to try a bronze-y pink blush.

(From Left to Right in picture)
Covergirl cheekster in 130 Iced Cap- Love this blush I do wish the pan was shaped a bit different because using a blush in the rectangular pan is awkward. However the color payoff is worth it and looks really flattering on fair and medium skin tones.

Cargo Tonga described as "pink terracotta"- I have had this blush for ages. With 13 grams of product!! This is bound to last you a long time. The blush goes on like a dream. It's really pigmented and goes on really smooth. It doesn't fade and stays the same color on all day. The color is the exact same to the Covergirl cheekster but the formulation of the Cargo is slightly better and pricewise the Cargo is worth it because of how much product you get.

Bath and Body Works Haul

I'm obsessed with Bath & Body Works. For those of you across the pond who don't know what this is it's a store entirely dedicated to body care, candles and soaps in a huge variety of amazing scents. They seriously need to open up in Europe ASAP.( You can order online and they do international shipping)

They often do Buy 3 get 3 deals and similar great promotions. I bought my goods during a buy 3 get 3 and free tote and free full size lotion and 1$ shipping. As you can see from the picture I'm slighty obsessed with coconut. Coconut lime breeze and the Coconut lime verbena scents are amazing I'm awful at describing scents so I'm going to direct you to the website to check out their descriptions.

It's my first time trying their shampoo and conditioner range they had really good reviews on the website so decided to give them a try. I will do a review when I finish them and let you guys know what I think!

The BBW glowing body scrubs are by far my favorite they leave a moisturizing finish behind and scrub really well. Not to mention the scent they give off are amazing. If your not one for strong scents like me BBW offer clean smelling light scents like seaside citrus and lemon zest.

Have you tried any BBW scents you recommend?

Make Your Own Body Scrub

What You'll Need:
1. Shower Gel
2. Aloe Vera
3. Sugar

Directions

I did one part shower gel one part aloe vera and two parts sugar for a courser scrub. If you want a more gentle scrub put a little less sugar than the aloe vera and shower gel mix and it's more of a gentle scrub.

I use this scrub to take off tan and to prepare my skin for tan. I find the aloe vera adds a more soothing scrub experience. You can just use shower gel and sugar if you please and if they are the only things you have in your possession.

Clarisonic 3rd Update

It's not been too long since I posted my last Clarisonic update and my nighttime skincare regime but some things have changed so I decided to blog about it again! I've also read on Beaut.ie, that Clarisonic is becoming more widely available to Ireland in Brown Thomas so if your interested you can now purchase them there as well as Harvey Nichols where they have been for quite some time but not as widely available to all of Ireland.

Neutrogena naturals Acne Cream CleanserCreamy formula gently cleanses and thoroughly removes pore-clogging oil, dirt and impurities.

So I've begun using the Neutrogena naturals face cream cleanser. I love Neutrogena and the fact they've come out with a more "natural" and eco-friendly line makes me love them more. Neutrogena cream cleanser has "no harsh chemical sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, dyes or phthalates" I dont have acne by any means but I decided to get these because a cream cleanser would be a better match with the Clarisonic. It is not harsh by any means and quite gentle. I find all of Neutrogena's items quite gentle so if you have sensitive skin you should check out Neutrogena's line.

Caudlie's Beauty Elixir-

Smoothing, glowing complexion Inspired by Queen Isabelle of Hungary’s elixir of youth, this treatment smooths away fine lines, tightens pores and gives the complexion an instant boost of radiance. Beloved by beauty addicts, celebrities and make-up artists alike.

This is a really refreshing toner. I tried out the mini version first and then bought the full size and it is worth it. I got it because because every beauty blogger, twitterer and youtuber raved and raved on about this spray toner and I had heard good things about the brand caudalie about how they use soothing grape water in a lot of their products. I love using this after I moisturize with some La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo or Cicplast and then spray some toner to wake my skin up. It's a good reason that that everyone raves about the beauty elixir because it's an amzing products. I have re-purchased the full-size version and I will continue to do so because it's a staple in my skincare now. If anyone has any suggestions for spray toner's let me know!

March and April Empties

I have a very cumulative empties this month. Instead of collecting and keeping empties until I did I post I took pictures as they became empty. Keeping empty products in a corner in my room wasn't doing wonders for my OCD. Here's last month's empties. On to this month's empties...

1.  Philospophy Purity Face Wash - Wasn't a fan it had an earthy fake smell and the packaging makes you think its natural and good for your skin but it's chock full of chemicals. However other than the strong earthy smell it washed my face well and paired well with the Clarisonic. Not re-buying for the time being.

2.Clearasil Pore Cleaning Pads- I use this as a exfoliating treatment time to time. I really like using them as your face feels really clean and fresh after. Make sure you moisturize after if you use these. Already re-bought.

(Sorry for the blurry photography something went wrong with transporting to laptop)
1. Morrocan Hair Oil- In LOVE with this stuff I have been using it for so long it was one of our first posts on the blog. I will be re-buying but I'm using HASK hair oil at the moment and  I'm really liking it HASK is a dupe for morrocan oil.
2. Paul Mitchell Strength Hair Spray-You spray this when your hair is damp then blowdry I did think it was helpful to prevent breakage.I'm not re-purchasing for now because I'm trying Joico's K-PAK leave in treatment.
3. Sephora's Micellaire Face Cleanser- Obsessed. Already re-purchased. Review here.

From Left to Right.
1. John Frieda 3-day straight semi permanent spray- Repeat offender in the empties. Obsessed with this spray it's amazing if you have wavy or curly hair and you want it to stay straight all day, not kink, and stay sleek in humidity.
2. No7 Overnight Revitalizing Eye Balm- I really like this eye gel its really refreshing and perfect for younger eyes. I'm trying out different eye gel's at the moment but I can definitely see myself re-purchasing. Review here.

From Top to Bottom
1. Malibu Heat Glowing Body Scrub by Bath & Body Works- Loved this scrub and all of BBW's glowing scrubs they leave a moisturizing kind of film behind that seals and plumps your skin. I re-bought in a new scent as Malibu Heat is a past season scent.
2. Malibu Heat Body Lotion by Bath& Body Works- Again the scent was gorgeous and left me sniffing my skin. I re-bought in another scent. They NEED BBW in Ireland!

Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner- You can get this stuff in CVS and on Amazon as far as I know. I really liked this thick conditioner it make my hair conditioned and soft and had no parabens sulfates and the works. Review is coming soon. Not re-bought because trying out new conditioners but will re-buy.
                                                                  (From Left to Right)
L'Oreal Eversleek Reparative Smoothing Shampoo- sulphate-free" hair shampoo I liked it but didn't re-buy for now because I want to try some other hair care products I'm really fickle with hair care. See H's review here.

First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser- Really liked this in conjunction with the Clarisonic. Took my make-up off really well. Not re-bought but expect that I may re-buy.

Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer-  Really brightened my eye area I really liked it. I'm going to use up my  Benefit erase paste before I re-buy.
